Alternative dispute resolutions perhaps won the night when Washtenaw County’s judicial candidates met for a forum this week.

The theme cropped up early in the event hosted Thursday, Oct. 4, by the League of Women Voters when attorney Thomas Bourque described his vision for the court, should he take the judge seat from his opponent, incumbent 14A-1 District Court Judge J. Cedric Simpson.
