The State House voted 58-51 to reject the sweeping environmental executive order to morph the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) into the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) signed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. But, the Michigan Senate is debating whether to reverse it!

📞 Call your State Senator and ask them NOT to overturn the Executive Order from Governor Whitmer. This Executive Order is the first step to clean water and environmental justice across the state of Michigan. Vote NO on HCR 1 which rejects Executive Order No. 2019-2.
