Voting Access for All Coalition (VAAC) is a grassroots organization with a mission to educate and facilitate voting for people in pre-trial
detention and post-release from jail or prison. Many people mistakenly believe they lose their right to vote while they are detained in jail awaiting trial. Anyone in Michigan who is not currently incarcerated with a felony CAN vote!! This gathering will provide an opportunity for multiple advocacy organizations to meet and explore ways to collaborate, share ideas and share resources so that no one has to reinvent the wheel.
