Sunday, May 16. 7–8 pm. Rekindling the fight in forgotten districts
Rural Maine is becoming increasingly Republican. But a first-time candidate for State Senate, Chloe Maxmin, figured out how to win there. In 2020, she beat the Republican Senate minority leader by 734 votes. One of her secret weapons? A volunteer data team trained by Bluebonnet Data, an innovative nonprofit that harnesses the power of college students who help campaigns use data more efficiently. Hear stories of two campaigns in tough districts told by the campaign managers and their Bluebonnet Fellows. Not every Bluebonnet data fellow volunteers for a winning campaign, but they are building the data infrastructure for a more competitive Democratic future. Register here.
