GOP members of congress and WH Staffers were intimately involved in the planning of the January 6th insurrection, say two anonymous informers tapped by Rolling Stone. According to these informants, these Representatives and staffers also helped plan March for Trump and Stop the Steal demonstrations around the nation in the weeks preceding the insurrection. The members of the House of Representatives and/or their staffers who were heavily involved in planning the insurrection are Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.), Lauren Boebert (R-Col.), Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.), Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) and Louie Gohmert (R-Texas.) Perhaps most shocking was the informants’ revelation that Paul Gosar dangled a blanket pardon in front of the insurrectionists.
According to a post from, the planning of the January insurrection stretched to the highest and widest reaches of Trump’s circle. These include Michael Flynn, Stephen Bannon, Rudolph Giuliani and John Eastman to name only the best known of them. They planned Trump’s pep rally at the WH Ellipse where he encouraged supporters to head to the Capitol to protest the electoral certification.
