A2 2nd Annual Climate Teach-in

March 10 @ 1:00 am - 5:30 pm

Many people want to do something about climate change but don’t know what to do or how to get started. That’s the purpose of the A2 Climate Teach-in – to provide an easy and meaningful entry point for those who want to take action. Your support of this important initiative is most appreciated. Many workshops and discussions are highlighted in the keynote address, What We Can Do Together for Climate Action, delivered by United States Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, Michigan’s 6th District.

The agenda for March 10:

  • Open with three high school students who are climate change activists
  • Keynote: U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Dingell on What We Can Do Together for Climate Action.
  • Breakout sessions:
    • Sustainable transportation
    • Sustainable banking
    • Local advocacy opportunities
    • Sustainable eating
    • Sustainable congregation and business
    • Local climate justice.
  • Closing Keynote: Missy Stults, Ph.D., Director, City of Ann Arbor Office of Sustainability and Innovations; A2Zero on Community Solar and Other Initiatives.
  • Networking Tables are designed to provide attendees with individual guidance on their action steps.
