Act with the Resistance Summit

Progressive groups in Michigan—including Michigan United Action, End Gun Violence Michigan Action, 482Forward, Sierra Club Michigan, and Climate Cabinet—are working together as the Resistance Summit to fight back against Trump and Musk’s power grab. They have called for regular actions on Tuesdays and Saturdays: “Take Action Tuesdays” and “Stand Up Saturdays.” You can view the Resistance Calendar HERE.

They are particularly focused on members of Congress who hold the most power to stop the illegal actions of the Administration and yet are most vulnerable politically. These members include John James (Macomb County) and Tom Barret (Ingham County) of the Michigan delegation.

Resistance can be of any form: a protest, picket, or something more creative. Submit your actions HERE, so we can stay coordinated.

Using the same form, we are asking you to submit STORIES of how the Trump administration’s chaotic power grab has affected you. Has someone lost their job? Had their important research halted? Lost benefits? We want to know.

On the same form, we are asking you to submit INTELLIGENCE on where members of Congress will be. Are they having a town hall or coffee hour? We want to know! We’ll get people there to demand that they stand up to Trump and Musk.
