Save the date. For the first time in 26 years, the local branch of the NAACP will not host a live event at Wheeler Park. This virtual event, a joint venture between the Ann Arbor NAACP and PEG, will not only recognize the liberation of the African American slave in June 1865, but will impress the necessity of voting in conjunction with public protest, despite voter suppression tactics. There will be more information included in our next newsletter.
