“Dayenu” (דַּיֵּנוּ) is a Hebrew word meaning “it would have been enough“, expressing gratitude to God for the numerous miracles and blessings bestowed upon the Jewish people during the Exodus from Egypt. The song lists various acts of God, and for each, it states “Dayenu,” emphasizing that even if God had only performed that single act, it would have been sufficient.
