Thursday, July 26. Volunteers needed for phone bank!
The Southern Poverty Legal Center seeks volunteers to help pass the Voting Restoration Amendment, which is on the Florida ballot this November. It would automatically restore the voting rights of 1.4 million people who are now barred from voting because of previous convictions, despite having paid their debt to society. They are seeking volunteers to make phone calls on Thursday, July 26. You can help strengthen our democracy without leaving your home!
