Martin Luther King Jr. and War: Then and Now

Some say that MLK’s stance against the Vietnam War weakened his stance on civil rights. Bill Shea and Mike Muha of the local Veterans For Peace Chapter 93 will inquire into MLK’s relationship between civil rights and militarism and discuss whether this relationship is still applicable today in the global situation of war.

It will be live-streamed and recorded. Click here for more information and to watch the livestream at the time of the event. Location: Ann Arbor Public Library, Downtown Library, 4th Floor Reading Room
