Michigan Sierra Club’s annual lobby day

Citizen lobbyists meet with state legislators to discuss and amplify issues before the house of representatives. This year’s focus will be SB 652-654 which would create committees/panels that are stacked with industry and heavy polluter representatives to review all permit decisions of the Department of Environmental Quality-popularly referred to as “the fox guarding the henhouse” legislation.
