Organizing Meeting – Voting and Immigrants Rights

The ACLU’s People Power are presenting this program where they will speak to a new cross organizational initiative to further spread the ACLU freedom city effort to more cities in the metro area. A partial list of the organizations involved in the effort are Michigan United, ACLU-MI, ACCESS, ACRI-MI, SWDCJC. Synod, and SWSOL. They will also talk to us about existing voter laws and comment on the 6 proposals to open up voter access that they have been working on.
