Read-In/Protest of Trump Library Cuts

Join the Livingston County Democrats and Livingston Indivisible for a “Read-In” and demonstration protesting the cut of $4.8 million for services to Michigan libraries through the Institute of Museum and Library Services. We will take turns reading aloud from our favorite books while others carry signs and wave to passersby. Our goal is to show people how the Trump regime’s cuts are hitting home: eliminating funds that allow us to borrow books from other libraries and access databases that our local libraries would not otherwise have.
