State and Local Primary Election
August 4 @ 9:00 am - 8:00 pm
If you haven’t turned your ballot in yet, you can take it to your clerk’s office until 8 pm today! If someone is not registered, they can also register and vote at the clerk’s office.
We advise to prepare to vote absentee and vote early. No excuse is needed — any registered voter is eligible to vote absentee. Requests for an absentee ballot can be submitted now for both August and November; local clerks will send ballots as soon as they are ready. Ballots can be filled out at home and mailed in, or they can go vote in person at their local clerk’s office and request and fill out an absentee ballot there. Consider registering for permanent absentee voting; that way, applications for an absentee ballot will automatically be mailed to each voter before every election.
