Voters Not Politicians – Democracy Academy 101 – My City Votes

The Voters Ed Fund is helping voters get civically engaged for the 2025 municipal and 2026 gubernatorial elections through the My City Votes Program in 2025, and we want you to join us! Sign up for one of our upcoming virtual “Democracy Academy 101” workshops to learn how you can engage your local communities into becoming more active in local politics. Register here – Democracy Academy 101: November 12th at 6 PM We’re also looking for volunteers to join our My City Votes Research and Presentation sub-committee. Volunteers will help develop educational materials including print materials and workshops surrounding municipal government to reach voters in low-propensity voting communities through workshops like the ones above. We want to expand voter knowledge in multiple areas of understanding and engaging local governments, including grassroots lobbying, participatory budgeting, and local ballot initiatives. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to me at alyson@votersnotpoliticians.com.
