Write Letters to Voters with Swing Left!

Join SwingLeft for a letter writing party, where they’ll be writing letters using an award-winning, proven tactic to reach potential voters in important upcoming elections and make sure they turn out to vote. They held a letter-writing party in March and it was lots of fun!

In an effort to make this as stress-free as possible so they will be providing letters, voter addresses, pens, envelopes, and stamps.

HOWEVER, if you would like to print out your own letters, you can hop on to votefwd.org/swingleft and make an account; download twenty letters; and they’ll show you how to write them at their party! Be sure to do this ~4 days prior to the event since it takes a couple of days to get a new account approved. Swing Left’s “Write Letters from Home” page has step-by-step information to help you get set up on Vote Forward and download letters, including this short video.

And, of course, if you’re able, bringing business-size envelopes, pens, and/or stamps would be great to help.

Letters to voters are a fun, easy, and highly effective way to strengthen our democracy by encouraging citizens from underrepresented communities to vote. Let your friends know about the event or just bring them along. Looking forward to seeing you!
